Tommy Hilfiger Runway Clutch

when i first saw it i thought it looked cute for like a makeup bag or something
but then it said clutch and it measures 12x6" or something...

it can't decide if it would look good as a clutch or not :/
but for around $4.80 something shipped i'm leaning towards yes

what do you ladies think?
yes, no? thoughts?

thanks!

Scarlett's Corset

  • Jul. 24th, 2008 at 11:46 PM
Hi all,

I'm at San Diego Comic Con for the weekend. After reading this community for awhile, I think I am FINALLY going to buy a corset! Scarlett's Corset is at the con and they fitted me today and I took a look at some of their corsets. I liked what I saw, but I've never bought a corset before, so I was curious if any of any of you had any opinion about them.

Thanks!

Hullo.
I've made myself quite a few corsets, having sucessfully drafted my own patterns, but corsetry is expensive, and I would like to challenge myself by making a corset for a different body type, so I was wondering if anyone was interesting in comissioning an affordable, semi-custom corset?

I'm experienced with neo-victorian underbusts and overbusts, not for waist-training, but very sturdy three layer corset, using a full set of your measurements.

My rough price would be around $120 USD, depending on the amount of boning, cost of fabrics, and bearing in mind that I live in New Zealand, and I'm not sure how the currency conversion works via electronic transfers. This covers the cost of hardware and fabric, and the approximate time it takes to make the corset.

I usually take roughly two weeks to finish, depending on outside interference.

A comment on here is fine as initial contact. You can also email me at peoplecomeandgo (AT) hotmail (DOT) com.

Merry Meet! My name is Nicole and I'm new to livejournal. I'm a new practioner and am having a little trouble. I was wondering if anyone new of any good spells(if you can include a supply list--certain candle colors, oils, etc--that would help) dealing with turning around ones luck and giving guidence when dealing with difficult life decisions. Thanks again! Blessed Be.

WANT!!

It's a Zack figure. And a Cloud infantrymen figure (aka Happy!Cloud). Want! Want! Want! Want! The display is at Comic Con. There's another Cloud figure. I think there's a Sephiroth. And Cloud's bike too. Is that a Squall? And of course KH.

Thank god it's a one off, but you can't tell me they didn't rip that idea from my design for my 2004 collection from Azrael's Accomplice here:

And ewww let's put a crappy band on it to add insult to inquiry, lol.

26" Amy Butler print cincher, $75

  • Jul. 24th, 2008 at 9:24 PM
Hello everyone.. After recently moving and expecting two corsets in the mail in the next few months, I decided it's time to clean out my closet a bit to make room.

I only have the one picture of this corset on my computer right now, but if anyone is interested I can take some more in the morning. I am asking $75, which includes shipping in the US. I can ship outside of the US, but I will have to find out how much it would cost.

One reason I am asking so little for this cute little cincher is that when I opened the box it came to me in, I accidently put a little tear in the binding.

Few more pics here : http://flickr.com/photos/jillscorsets/page2/

The corset itself is made with Amy Butler print cotton fabric, double boning. The binding and laces are made with pink satin. There are also four garter loops.

The waist closes at 26", there is a modesty panel.
underbust ~ 28-29"
hip ~ 34-35"
busk lenght ~ 10"

Just a heads up: FAQ 17, "What if I forgot my username or password?" has been completely reorganized and is now more detailed. Please read over it if you're active in g/unk.

Raindrops keep falling on my head...

Dude, the weather has been weird this year. Maybe it's just that there were so many years of drought, but I feel like we've gotten an absolutely ridiculous amount of rain. It's good in some senses, but the mosquitoes have been awful.

I couldn't suppress a snicker (several, in fact) over the news that FanLib is shutting down. Good riddance, guys! The timing (with the Hale business and all) is also kind of eerily apt.
